Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati, Assam - Transfer to Shillong, Meghalaya
Upon your arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, our representative will warmly welcome you. A scenic drive will take you to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Shillong - Exploring the Scotland of the East
Embark on a full-day exploration of Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." Visit the Shillong Peak for panoramic views, the Elephant Falls, and the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Explore the local markets and indulge in traditional Meghalayan cuisine. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong
Drive to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and the Mawsmai Cave. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Return to Shillong for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki
Embark on a day trip to Mawlynnong, often touted as the cleanest village in Asia. Visit the Living Root Bridge and explore the picturesque village. Day 5: Shillong - Jowai
